A few days ago, Katie Price launched a new range of lingerie in London at The Worx for “George at Asda”. Katie, whose lingerie is said to have with Plus Size women in mind, picked six members from her Katie Price Fan Club to model these lingerie alongside her.

From comments that I read around blogs, people have cruelly commented that they were repulsed or disgusted with these ladies in underwear but I think that it’s pretty brave of them to parade in their lingerie in front of the press.

Super Bowl is happening this Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. If you are not American or have not lived in America, you probably do not recognise how huge this sporting event is. It is as of the whole of American held its breath just waiting for Super Bowl Sunday to arrive.
This year, marks the 42nd Super Bowl so you can imagine the long history of the game. It’s like a tradition, a culture and once you have been to watch Super Bowl live, I think you will want to go year after year. It’s like an addiction.
Since Super Bowl is just slightly more than a day away, I thought it would be most apt for me to write a post on the Lingerie Bowl in conjunction with Super Bowl.
Lingerie Bowl is a Pay-Per-View TV program where beautiful lingerie models play American Football as if for real during halftime of the real Super Bowl. Some people may think that this is stupid, but this is really a huge business for everyone involved and it is a huge advertising opportunity for businesses wanting to capitalize on the demographics of viewers.
I mean, who doesn’t like watching beautiful models in lingerie and minimal protective gear pretending to play Super Bowl?
I managed to dig two videos from YouTube just now. These videos are the two parts of a Lingerie Bowl event two years ago. It was the third annual Lingerie Bowl held during half time of the 40th Super Bowl.
Since then, you can imagine how big Lingerie Bowl has grown that the producers are turning it into a reality show with its own league. Imagine that!
Update: The 5th annual Lingerie Bowl was cancelled as the organizers were unable to obtain a permit.
