A lady left me a comment that Frederick’s of Hollywood is “trashy”. Well, I don’t think they are “trashy”. Perhaps it is because they are associated with “Hollywood”? A love for their kind of lingerie is an acquired taste, me thinks.

Can you imagine, Frederick’s of Hollywood is already an established brand name, being in business for over sixty years. If they are trashy, they would not have lasted even six years LOL

Anyway, before I agree or disagree with her, I took the opportunity to check out the designs that Federick’s of Hollywood carry and decided to pick out my favourite pieces from their Seduction Collection.

I don’t like those that are too elaborate or takes me a lifetime to wear. The most important thing to me would be comfort then only design. Sexiness, and my ability to carry them, is another matter altogether! LOL It all boils down to personal preference.

What do you think of my taste?

Lately, I have been contemplating starting my own private label. I discussed this with a few friends and realised that one of my major setbacks would be in designing. I may have an idea but I don’t know how to design and put my idea onto paper.

You see, just now I came across the website of Fleur T, which is founded and helmed by Ms. Fluer Turner. She designs her own lingerie collection and I must say that each piece is very impressive.

After browsing through her latest collections, named Tweet, Chocolat, Black Magic and Cream Tea, I seriously asked myself if I could start my own label successfully. I mean, here I am, someone who knows nothing about designing dreaming of having my own lingerie label. Whoa… I must be doing exactly that: DREAMING *sigh*
